Excellent mount for X1

This mount fit my xfinity x1 box very well.
The adjustments are simple with the thumb screws. I put the box cable box in the mount first to make it the proper dimensions for my application then removed the cable box and held the mount against the wall to mark the 4 screw holes. Next installed 4 drywall anchors and attached the mount to the wall, slid the cable box in and snugged up the thumb screws.
Now my cable box is hidden behind the tv with no cables showing. Only took about 20 minutes to install.

This mount allowed me to clean up my TV area by mounting a DVD player I had on a small cabinet behind the TV and therefor letting me eliminate the cabinet completely. This mount was very easy to use and adjusted to fit my DVD player perfectly. I would highly recommend buying one of these mounts if you are trying to save space or finish up a hidden wall mount installation.

These HideIt mounts make it easy to hide your cable box to give your TV and room that modern, clean, uncluttered look.
The website is super easy and helpful. I plugged in the dimensions of my cable box and it showed me which I needed to buy for everything to work together.

I purschased this product to mount my Comcast DVR. I must say, it sure makes my set up look very clean. I am very satisfied with this product and now I look forward for other Hideit Mounts products. I've read other reviews talking about the price but the quality and its purpose once installed which was simple, you will see it's worth every penny.

Can't say enough about these mounts. Amazing that such a simple device can make such a big difference. I would never have believed that we could hide all our boxes (cable, home security and internet routers, Apple TV, etc.) behind the TV and that the remote would still work. In fact - the remote works better now than when we pointed it directly at the box. We ended up purchasing 5 mounts to accommodate devices for two different TVs. Not a wire, or a device, in sight. The TVs look like they're floating on the walls. Hallelujah.
