Good product poor shipping

This trick rack is sturdy and solid, in fact I also purchased the top rail kit for it. I've had several ladders as well as other materials on it at once and it doesn't budge. It's very strong and with the top rail kit it solidifies the whole unit, however, I'm not sure if it's the manufacturer or the shipper but the first time I got it the box was ripped open and one of the locking end caps was destroyed and usable. It was suggested by the company I purchase another kit and use the necessary parts then return all bad parts for a reimbursement of one kit, which I did. The second package came in even worse condition. The package was in such disarray the hardware kit was lost in transit and I had to Frankenstein the two kits along with some nuts, bolts and a lock core replacement kit I had to purchase separately. So like I said once it's up and together it's great but the process between purchase and complete assembly was a nightmare.
No height adjustment
paul stack•July 27, 2017
They were very easy to install they look very good on the truck my only complaint would be that there is no height adjustment. I installed them on my 2015 ram extended cab and when you lay something flat across them there is very very little room between the roof of the truck and whatever you have across the racks, so I suggest you be very careful when you're loading anything on top of them.
Don't buy if you can find an alternative

This is the second order I made for this rack, the first one came missing an item (a mounting adapter weighing a few ounces), had to return the entire 50 pound package for a part that could have been mailed in an envelope. This one showed up with all the pieces although packaged poorly. Thinking I was good to go returned the first order. Mistake! When we tried to assemble the latest package discovered one of the right hand vertical supports had been improperly aligned when welded (see photo), would not line up with the crossbar. We need the rack now so will try to align the part by rotating the support base, which will look lousy and not have the strength of being properly positioned. If that doesn't work will exchange this one for still another. I'll keep exchanging this until they get it right. If you don't have time for multiple exchanges suggest you order two and return one after making one good rack out of the two.
Nice

These are really nice & appear to be good quality / durable. However, I had to order a replacement because one of the leg mounts was welded slightly out of alignment. Amazon was quick to replace the order, just a pita to have to return the defective order. I mounted theee to my 2004 Toy Tundra & they look great. Note that if you plan to set these all the way to the far ends of the bed then you'll have to use a bolt at the far ends because there's no rail for the clamp to work.

Installed on a 2015 Ford F150 Super cab. The instructions say 20 minute install, that doesn't take in the fact that I had to go to the hardware store and get a missing carriage bolt and 2 missing set screws. I am very meticulous, so I measure 4 times and cut once. Therefore it took me about 2 hours to install. Now that I have installed one, it would probably take me about an hour. Overall I'm please with the look and it appears to be sturdy. I didn't want to drill any holes in my truck. I bought it to haul a couple of kayaks. To take it off, and put it back on, probably about 15-20 minutes.
