Just another come on.

Buy it and immediately an advertisement come up to buy the pro version. It does not really work that well at all. If possible try to find another program that can do more for the same price. I will.

Upgrade Needed

I should have read the reviews closer. The relatively low price should also have been a tip off. The software you receive is functionally very, very basic. In order to perform any reasonable copy/write functions you need to upgrade for at least $30 more dollars.

Buyer Beware

The box says it is the ONLY program you will ever need to burn high quality, reliable and secure discs. This is a lie. It will NOT burn DVD discs from MPEG, MP4 or many other formats. You will need to purchase Nero Platinum to cover all formats. I tried the Nero Video free trial and it said I needed an upgrade. Ugh.

Before trying Nero Burn Express 3, look at Windows Media Player

This product did not install well on my machine. It locked up when trying to burn some audio CDS. All in all, features were no better than Windows Media Player. I returned for refund. No problem with customer service.

Very good program for making backup copies for DVDs

Very good program for making backup copies for DVDs. It is not especially intuitive. I created files with 'DVD shrink', which output about 30 different files to the backup folder. I eventually discovered you have to select ALL of those files to create a backup DVD with Nero. Once I figured that out, I am happy with it.
