I bought a set of three in the 64gb capacity as drives for my school district's imaging utility for our windows devices.

The drives come in plastic baggie packaging and I immediately plugged them into my work laptop to begin the imaging process. The process was smooth and without issues using imageUSB by passmark and there were no read/write errors after each drive was checked for integrity.

I pressed them into immediate use today to fix several laptops and compared to the singular USB drive I was issued for this purpose, these are definitely reading and writing at USB 3.0 speeds, the full imaging process now only takes up to 20 minutes rather then 40! :D

My only concern currently is that for these operations, the drives do get a tad bit warm, but not alarmingly so. I will update my review if I encounter issues, but for now I'm so happy with these I've ordered five more.

When I copy from a name branded library SanDisk or Samsung. It is performs extremely fast. The 2 times it disconnected were from slower microSD cards, which were discovered that they were possibly fake cards, so I stop using them. I di know that 2 Sata NTFT 1TB ( the 2 notched drives) drives perform Incredibly fast like 100 to 130 Mbps, which was pretty impressive considering Samsung drives came close to this speed. Would I recommend this drive. Sure, but make sure your reading from a fast thumb drive. That performs without fail.Samsung or SanDisk work really well, but no name drives. Your taking a chance. I play shows and movie backups and on a fast drive. Like PNY drive. It plays beautifully. No sputtering or pausing of the movie and it plays from start to finish.

I bought this for the ClonerAlliance Box Pro and
it is fast enough to record . I bought the 128gb and
can store about 7 or 10 1 hr and half movies on it.

Used 14 of these to share large (approx 6GB) 4K video files. The write speed was fast for the first 250MB or so of the file then it came down to and stabilised at about 12MB per second. Took about 8 minutes to Transfer the 8 minute long 4K video.

The sliding cover doesn't actualyl close off the USB conenctor from dust, but does protect the side of it from damage. It wsa sometimes a bit difficult to slide, and Icoudl see it being problematic for some users with Arthritis, however I am sure with much use it loosens up.
