The instructions left something to be desired. They would benefit from rewriting so that they are clearer to someone who doesn't work with them daily. It is better quality and more durable than the original.

This is a perfect solution for gate openings where you didn't pay enough attention to standard gate sizes. The alternative is to change the gate posts or use this fit-right gate. It is pretty easy to follow the instructions and make a gate. Honestly, I did make a mistake but the gate had enough material that I could try again. I needed a pretty narrow gate. But it was easy to work on and works well.

Very easy to assemble, decent instructions. Able to replace a fence panel with this gate kit in an afternoon. Now a skid steer can access our fenced in backyard for some heavy landscape work. Forgot that hinge pins were not included (hinge pin receivers are), bought a gate hinge kit @ Menards for $10 (the only local hardware or home improvement retailer that had it in-store). Also just ordered a double gate drop pin kit via Amazon (as I am using this gate with the smaller existing gate), and will bolt that up when it arrives. Overall I will have about $100 and my time invested - pretty cheap considering skid steer access will save us big money for our backyard project.
