Just got the coffee and was anticipating a really dark caramel color and aroma and that is what I got. Using an aero press and 13 g coffee and 6 oz 175 degree water. Added frothed whole cream. Smokey almost like the taste of bread crust that is almost to dark. Dark cacao like flavor very present while drinking with nice smooth aftertaste. Definitely not for the person who doesn't care for the darker roasts. This coffee is teetering on being to darkly roasted but hangs on by maintaining that depth of chocolate flavor throughout It has a nice pick up caffeine boost to boot

Love this product. This is probably the best coffee I have had. Great flavor. The aroma in the house after grinding makes me want to stay home all day. I can't recommend strongly enough. Put down that store bought big brand and support a great small business making a superb product.

Death Wish Coffee comes through again! Wonderful coffee with a unique taste and aroma as we have come to expect from Death Wish Coffee. Have not been disappointed yet from these folks. Looking for a bean to brighten your day buy some Death Wish products for a fine surprise!

Having recently suffered the loss of a loved one, I was going through my wishlist for some retail therapy. I chose the Valhalla Java Odinforce Blend by Death Wish Coffee Co. This product did not disappoint. It arrived, on time in its own box with 2 stickers (it's like they know you're gonna be a fan!). When I opened the bag, a pleasant rich cocoa smell permeated, I did a medium coarse grind for a French press, first cup; warm cocoa nutty medium roast flavor very similar to the smell of the beans. Delicious. I will be purchasing again, I'm glad I chose this product to treat myself, it was with it!

Good cup of joe. No burnt taste and very smooth ending, with no lingering aftertaste. I drink it every morning to start the day. Whole beans smell great and looks marvelous. Grind them at home and boom, fills your kitchen with great coffee fragrance. Brew it and fill your house with the smells of Valhalla. Drink it, conquer your day like a Viking. This might actually sub my SB double shot mocha can that I drank every morning. No cravings for it since drinking this coffee. Also, I can drink this black with very little sugar and no creamer or milk. Which is way better health wise than the SB can that I became a slave to every morning. And as far as store bought beans. These beans are no comparison, a league of their own.
