I really like this timer. I've been using timers for decades mostly to assure that I don't have to walk into a dark home at the end of the day. They are not Swiss watches, meaning all may lose a minute or two in the course of a year. I expect so much. This year I decided to find one that can support a window air conditioner. Why I never thought to do this before, I don't know. This timer says it on the label, (supports AC units), so I tried it. Brilliant!
Keep in mind, if you have to push a button to turn on your AC, this won't work. But, if you have an AC that has a knob that you turn, this is perfect. I also love that this unit has an on/off switch at the top so I can disengage the timer when I'm home; no need to reset, the clock is not altered when you turn the switch.

The loud ticking sound really bothers me, especially at night. I have to unplug it.
