Birch Black Sports Safety Glasses Retaining Cord

I purchased this to replace a retaining cord used on a medical spectacle-style headset. The frames are made by Rudy Project. The ends of the cord fit perfectly onto the ends of the glasses temples. By squeezing the ribbed sides of the rubber slide, you can easily move the slide into position. Let go of the rubber slide, and it locks in place. The cord material is of high quality. This is a perfect replacement for the original retaining cord, and I expect several years of use from it.

A very nice eyeglass retainer; fits snugly on eyeglass "arms" and length of loop is adjustable by slider.
Great for someone who reads without glasses but needs them for TV or general use.

First I measured and cut the cord to the length I was comfortable with. Then I used a hair dryer to soften the rubber to make It easier to slip on the ear ends, which I noticed you mentioned in your email. The grip is on for good so don't expect to be swapping them from shade to shade. You'll just have to get one for each pair, which I highly recommend because rhese are some very nice cords for your sunglasses. 5 STARS was an easy choice.

I'm a professional piercer by trade and my glasses always want to slide off my face when I'm piercing. Which is a problem because I, you know, need glasses to see what I'm piercing. And I can't exactly adjust my glasses with contaminated hands. I ordered this with the hopes of eliminating all the hassle of trying to keep my glasses on my face and it's awesome. The rubber adjuster thing (?) on the back doesn't pull at my hair or anything and it doesn't slide easily so it doesn't come out of place. Awesome product, and the price makes it a bargain.

I have both Rx sunglasses and clear glasses. i purchased just one to see if it would fit on both pair.The opening is very small. The barely fit my Rx sunglasses which are a 1/4 inch wide. The didn't fit my clear Rx glasses which are 3/8 inch wide. wish it was a little larger opening.
