my favorite BBQ sauce. not traditional in flavor. Thinner, more tangy, and spicier than a traditional sweeter and smoked BBQ sauce.

This is a wonderful bar b que sauce that has been around for years!! My grandmother (1900-1996) was an expert from scratch cook and used it continually. I have her recipes and nothing else fits them like Open Pit Original. She was Norwegian and Scotch Irish and it also served up well to her Scandinavian neighbors.

I always love Open Pit among all BBQ sauces. Great tangy, spicy flavor, but not overwhelming in heat. I can't believe the lower price from last purchase. Great value.
