I have young kids who think the house is a field and like to toss things around. We unfortunately lost a TV to this and after replacing it I looked for a product to protect it. I found this one to be the best priced and exactly what I was looking for. The package arrived well packaged and very easy to install I was able to do it alone on a 60" TV.
The only thing I didn't like was that the Velcro that came with it won't stay stuck to the TV or the protector so I'll have to go press it down again every few days/weeks.

As for image quality this doesn't effect it from my perspective I still get the same quality I get without it so it's just a great layer of protection.

Just got it today, 12/17/16. Easy to install, great quality material but not great results. It reduces the glare but doesn't eliminate. It fits our 60" perfectly and provides good protection. We have a lot of windows and need a stronger anti-glare product. For the price I'm returning.

The manufacturer recommends this for inside use only but the only reason I need glare reduction is because I use the TV outdoors on a patio, so I ended up taking the risk on outdoor use and it seems to work well. The plastic is heavy enough that it probably would damage the TV screen if it bounces around due to wind , but between the strap on the back and velcro in the front it seems quite secure.

This is actually a very nice product. I just wish it was about 1 inch wider since, even though my 55 inch TV has a narrow border, I can't use the velcro on the sides because the protector is just a bit wider than the screen itself and doesn't cover the entire border on the sides. That said, I use the velcro on the bottom part of the TV, which may be even better given the outside use

As others have mentioned (in reviews of this product for different sized TVs) the sharpness of the picture does get affected somewhat but it doesn't bother me enough to be an issue and I am pretty detail oriented. This is more of an issue if you hold the plastic 1-2 feet away from the TV and look through it, and less of an issue when the plastic is 1 inch from the TV screen.

Glare reduction is pretty good, but not perfect (I doubt it can be). I enclosed a photo showing the glare on the TV with the protector, vs the glare on an ordinary window. All in all - I'd rather watch TV outside with product than without it.

Our 2 toddlers accidentally knocked and broked our last TV screen. Got a new TV from Blackfriday deal and thought of getting a screen protector.
Found this item and right away made my decision. Totally worth the money!! And it fits great on my 50" Samsung LED TV.

My Vizio TV has a mirrored screen (reflects any lights in the room), which makes TV viewing difficult if any lights are turned on in front of the TV. This screen minimized the glare and I can now watch the TV with the light on, which my daughter insists we do. I installed using only the safety strap, without the Velcro pads that come in the package. You can't even tell the protective screen is on when watching TV. Much better than without the protector, and it's easy and fast to remove it if needed (just loosen the safety strap running behind the TV (runs through a slit in the top of the protector), and that's it. It's a one-person install, but it helps to have another person hold the top in place just for peace of mind during the install. The screen has anti-slip (rubber) "dimples" on the top, so it sits slightly off the top of the TV screen. Good quality.
