Absolutely love this lamp! I bought this for our bedroom in hopes that the multiple fixtures and rotatable covers would spread out light in a rather dark and ceiling light fixture-less room. My husband is tall and our main concern with this lamp was how low the ends hung; all that was solved when we put it together and because the arms arent so long, they don't really curve down...I'd say they stand at likely at or just below 7 ft? Great to have this style without the head knockin'!

I gave 4 stars because the bulbs that come with it are what I'd consider decorative. They're very neat irridescent candalabra bulbs but they're very dim and yellow displaying. A great warm lighting, just not at all to our needs. The lamp also flickers on the lower/dimmer setettingsBoth the original bulbs and the new replacements i purchased for it...because we dont typically have it on a low setting, its not a big concern.

Very happy with the overall size, weight, appearance and price of this item. And shipping was fast - even to Alaska! That's always a plus.

Just like other reviewers have stated, the part where the leafs connect to the stem via one very small scew doesn't seem like a great idea. Not to mention the screw does not go in straight and it strips very easily. (Tried several times and no luck). Bad design basically. You're asking a small screw to somewhat hold the weight of the top weight of leafs to the stem ( I am not sure of the correct term so I will call them leafs for now). A larger screw, maybe even a bolt would a better idea, or a threaded top and a ring design....Or any better design. I do like the satin nickel finish. I will try to fix the issue one more time otherwise I may have to return it. It will not be easy to pack this back into the box. I think the overall look is good but not well executed in one area which is sad. Giving it one star for now. Another thing, it would be great if I could buy a different bulb shade that would let me use adapter with Phillips hue led bulbs (which works with Alexa). I hope someone from Artiva is listening and is interested in improving this lamp.

I like the product. I see the reason for the slits on the shades. That way you can rotate the shade to face the ceiling or any other direction and still get some light come through rather than have shadows or darkness underneath. I like that. I gave it 3 stars because I would like the option of turning on each bulb separately. However I knew that wasn't the case by reading previous reviews and not from the product description. Furthermore, for the price they should supply LED dimmable bulbs.

I always worry when I spend more than $100 on an item being shipped, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got this lamp. I am over 55 and female and this lamp was easy for me to put together. The arms of the lamp spread out perfectly over our sectional. It comes with regular bulbs, but I purchased LED "dimmable" bulbs, now it's all good.

It arrived on time and in excellent condition. The package was difficult to open, but it did its job of protection well. The lamp went together easily - according to the instructions. I used a ratchet, instead of the supplied wrench, for the base bolt. I was concerned about cross-threading and stripping the bolt, but after spraying with silicone lube, the bolt tightened up fine. The screw hole for the upper section was in the wrong place, but the awl in my Swiss Army Knife came in handy. Make sure you drive that screw in straight!
I installed LED bulbs, instead of the incandescent ones supplied by Artiva. The lamp is big, so it matches the scale of our living room, and lights up the room well - providing enough light for my wife to do detailed knitting without any problems. The lamp is slightly too big for our dining room area, but we may put one in there, anyway, since it allows my wife to illuminate the dining room table well enough to cut sewing patterns and work on projects without mistakes due to lack of illumination. We are very happy with this lamp!

Wife can now do detailed knitting work with multiple dark colors at night. This is a great lamp!
