Bought a low-miles used van. They detailed it and it did a great job. The cleaner they used was overpowering and after it subsided the van had a wet-dog smell. I saw this online decided to take a chance. Would it really work or just add another layer of smell?

There are few in life I am amazed by. This little can happens to be one of those amazing things. I followed the instructions verbatim. At first the smell was overpowering and that lasted 4-5 days. It then turned very pleasant and my passengers even remarked how great the van smelled. It's now been a month and there is a slight hint of the fragrance but the miracle is that the wet dog smell is completely gone.

This smells nothing like "new car" but it does smell great. It's not a perfume or flowery smell. It's hard to describe but it smells clean and fresh. And di I mention the wet dog smell is completely gone? I did? Totally gone. I love it so much I bought another can to give it another treatment, only because I love the clean smell. My daughter had someone barf in her car and she was advised to use ammonia to clean it up. Total mistake. I gave her a can of this and after months of trying different remedies this is the only one that worked.

This works on barf, ammonia barf, and wet dog. And it's the closest thing to a miracle I've experienced. Not sure what the magical science is behind this stuff but I am a believer and tell every stinky car friend I have about it.

Purchased a 1-owner, 10 year old vehicle that had been smoked in. When replacing the stereo, I cleaned out all I could of the ashes from under the dash. I vacuumed and cleaned the inside of the car several times. I sprayed cleaners that promoted they would eliminate smoke. I used the hard block odor absorbing neutralizers. I replaced the in cabin air filter with one with carbon and baking soda. Nothing was working. I used one of these as instructed before going on vacation. I ran it with the air/fan on full blast closed up. I opened the car doors and let it air out. Ran a few errands before leaving the car for a few days. Came back, the fresh smell was still strong. It did take that a little time to wear off, but I still do not smell any smoke or other odors in the car. It has been at least three months now. I purchased two extra cans after seeing how well it worked to use on my wife's vehicle due to the traffic and food spills from the kids. I say this stuff works.

Previous owner of a 2005 Toyota Tacoma was a smoker. Used steam on everything inside cab. Shampooed carpet, general cleaner on interior and still had smoke odor. I used two cans inside. Removed cabin air filter & glove box, turned fan on high, cold temp. Warmed cans up with hair dryer first and placed one can on passenger floor board where cabin air was sucking product into vents and the other can center console. I warmed cans up so that when releasing, the fog will be in smaller particles. When can is cold, fog comes out in larger droplets causing it not to stay suspended in the air. Then I started engine and let run for 10 minutes with windows / doors closed .....It made difference. Faint odor still but made a difference.
Meguiar's fogger cans are 1/2 the size in comparison to a normal insect fogger you'd purchase at the store, much smaller than I expected. 2" round, 3" tall.
I never expected a miracle and in time the odor will go away and expect to do this again in a month or so.

I followed the instructions and everything went according to plan. At first its a very strong smell of household cleaning products combined with a manly type cologne. After about a week the smell weakened. After two weeks it is just about completely gone... or at least I don't notice it.

My reason for use:
I bought a used car with a strong bowling alley / cigarette smell. The dealer replaced the headliner, replaced the cabin filter and hired someone to perform a chemical bath service. The smell was lessened but still present. I took the car to a local car wash and had them steam clean every surface that they were willing to. This additionally reduced the smell but I could still smell the smoke slightly, especially while using the AC. I then used this product, leaving the AC on full per the instructions, and I no longer have any cigarette smell. I'm sure it was the combination of my efforts that removed the smell but I think that this product really did the job when it comes to removing lingering odors from my AC.

The absolute best product for automobiles. I used these monthly when I smoked and it killed all smoke odors. I do not smoke anymore, but still use the product for a good clean smell after cleaning. I love it! I work in the service department at a dealership and highly recommend this product to my customers. A customer used it after I recommended it for a mold smell and they called back to let me know it worked perfectly!
