Excellent Ukulele display mount.

I ordered one of these Uke hangers from String Swing before and am very happy with this additional one. They are easy to mount on the wall and hold my Ukes safely without any damage to to neck due to the cushioned prongs. It's wooden mounting block makes for a classy but subtle display. I highly recommend this product for displaying your ukuleles.

Easy to install, incredibly secure, very firm hold and easy to place on and off with uke (or guitar, if using larger models sold by String Swing).
Recommend using drywall anchors if you're really not sure, but honestly, it's a bit of overkill for the weight of a uke unless you just really mess up putting two screws into the wall. (Push pressure against the drill with your body as you screw it in and go slow to prevent stripping it.

Nice, simple design that was easy to install. Keeps my ukulele and banjolele within easy reach, but up safe and out of reach of the dogs. I find that having the ukes out and within sight I am far more likely to pick them up and play even if I just have a few minutes. When they were stored in cases I still played them a lot, but not as often, especially if I was short on time. Now they are easily within reach, plus I get to enjoy seeing them. I had looked at stands, but was worried that the dogs might accidentally knock them over or cause damage. So this worked well. They were easy to install and I liked having stain/finish choices. Made it easy to match existing furniture in the room.

If you're considering purchasing this, you're probably concerned with three things: 1) Will it safely secure my instrument? 2) Is it easy to install? 3) Does it look good? Let me answer these questions.
1. Yes, it will securely hold your instrument. Mine supports a lightweight ukulele with no issues whatsoever.
2. Yes, it is easy to install. I installed mine in old drywall. The product comes with a screw, which can be used on its own if you locate a stud. If you don't locate a stud, you simply screw in a wall anchor (which is also provided) and then put the screw into that. It's easy.
3. It does look good. It's quite small, so don't worry about it appearing garish or anything. I own the black walnut color. It looks quite nice.

Extremely easy to install and very sturdy. I am confident that my guitar(s) will not fall from this hook. I bought this dark walnut color because it looks good with my wall color. NOTE: Whenever possible, try to screw this item into a wooden wall stud. If you can't locate a wooden stud through your wall, ask a hardware person what to do. He or she should be able to point you towards a suitable "wall anchor" that will only take a minute or two to install. There are several styles of wall anchors that will work well.
