We bought this when Hurricane Nate was slipping into the Gulf and we were getting ready to evacuate. It is strong enough for filled gas cans and a couple of coolers. We would recommend it to anyone needing to carry extra cargo for a tail-gate party, camping trip, etc. or to use as we needed to. PS...Nate went the other way...yahoo!

Amazing! Drove across the US... 3500+ miles...got caught in torrential rains, a wicked storm in SD, and not a single drop of moisture penetrated the bag. I highly recommend this cargo bag.
When using, I found it fit best in the rack and held it's shape when a (loaded) box was placed on either end, that fit and formed to the bag size/shape. We got a lot of stuff in this cargo bag. Used in conjunction with a hitch cargo rack that was as long as the bag, but deeper and that gave us the ability to also add two bmx bikes to the rack.

This is a very good quality bag. It is waterproof as long as the zippers are covered by the flap. We drove through a thunderstorm and everything was completely dry. Fits great with the cargo carrier 63153. The height is good for Honda pilot as you can clearly see the license plate and tail light

Is not completely water proof. Although it resist water, it still let's water in. I drove through about 30 mins of light rain and when I got to the hotel, my backs were wet. Not too bad, but enough to make you dissapointing with how much I paid. I wouldn't recomment.
