I bought this about a year ago and unfortunately it failed in January. The company replaced the unit and it's working perfectly again. I will upgrade the ratings after another year of continuous use with no failures.

Instructions were a little confusing as the wiring diagram didn't align with how to install the kill switch and remote door locks! I did figure it out with a little help from a YouTube video! The GPS is a bit glitchy but overall I'd say it's a good bye at one of the best quarterly rates available!

So get this, my project car rarely moves and I received an email from Wolf Toder asking if all is well. He added a screenshot which shows the activity and he was just making sure that it was ok. I idle mar car in place every day and it raised a flag on their end. To top this off, Chuck Toder offered three months of free tracking for the inconvenience early on. What can I say? I'm a sucker for companies who go out of their way to fix issues. I'm very happy to update my rating and they earned my future business for sure. As for the system, it rocks!

So it's back up and running. The previous charges were removed and my account was finally unlocked. I was able to start a new service and so far it's working as intended. My previous customer service comments still stands but at least I'm tracking.

I like the tracker. But I have experience black out because I had issues with my bank blocking the charge. Then I received a price of $180 to re-instate which I did not move forward with it because my car was down for major repairs and was a little miffed with the cost. I need this now since the car is back and operational but I can't even get help to get it back up and running even after sending emails asking for explanation of the charges. So I have this expensive piece of equipment with no way to use it. Last time I called, I didn't feel like the person on the other end was friendly at all. A little stern and definitely did not make me feel comfortable as a customer of their product. Not sure if I can recommend this knowing how user un-friendly it is.

I had been a Trackmate subscriber for nearly 3-years before the day came when I REALLY Needed it!
My Mustang was stolen, my first thought was Thank Goodness I have Trackmate on it.
This is when Trackmate customer service tech "Wolf" Came to the Rescue !! Due to non-payment on my end, (my bad) I was having a problem logging-in so called them- Wolf rushed to get me location of the car, texted me the address, followed-up with me to let me know car had moved. Wolf then did a Speedy re-activation of my account so that I was able to track the car in real-time. I was able to find and tail the Mustang on busy L.A. streets, and ultimately able to get the car back. IMPORTANT: When considering any GPS unit- Consider the Customer Service! If I'd had anything other than Trackmate in my situation it might have been days to get re-activated, and I'm not sure I'd have my car back. Thank You Wolf & Trackmate !!

Amazing product and service. My car was stolen but not for long because of the pinpoint accuracy of the GPS. Also the rep stayed on the phone with me giving me live updates. Highly recommende
