It works!
Jeff Miller•September 27, 2017
When I looked at this tool I thought, "well it might work" but it DOES work and it works very well. Both ends are very useful snapping (and keeping snapped) the covers on my boat. Bottom line: it works as advertised and appears that it will last a lifetime - very well made. Well deserving of a 5 star rating.
Great tool for boaters with canvas covers.

My husband loves this tool and had it on his wish list for quite some time. We got it for him for Father's Day and he has used it twice in less than 4 weeks. Not only does it help you unsnap the canvas without damaging it, it also helps you snap them back on. Last season, he had a terrible time getting the canvas cover back on the boat to store it for the winter. This is going to make that job soooo much easier.
Save your thumbs

saved your thumbs, buy two and help someone else out. for the past 3 years I have struggled with getting snaps on my boat to snap, I can not believe how easy this tool has made it. I bought two and gave one to one of the boaters on my dock who bitching like me about re-attaching the snaps, especially after a long day on the water, I speak for him as well. Great quality great design, love it.
Works great!

I use this tool to unsnap our new pontoon boat mooring cover. After only 1 week of owning the boat (before having this tool) I broke off 1 snap. This tool is easy to use and should keep the remaining snaps in one piece. It appears to be very good quality stainless steel and should last a long time. The strap is good to put around your wrist so you don't lose it while unsnapping over water. I haven't tried to see if it floats, but with the strap I'm not too worried about that.
Works Perfect

Used it to remove my storm dodger, worked perfect. The folks on the powerboat next to me were having trouble with their bimini top, they borrowed it, worked perfect for them. Sturdy built, works as advertised, fair price, what more needs to be said? My only issue is that I don't believe it floats, would recommend attaching a float device such as a key chain holder to it in case.
