This is legitimately extremely hot. Much spicier than any other powder or sauce that I've ever found. I'm used to coating food in hot sauce until that's about all I can taste and getting maybe moderately hot food. In American restaurants I typically have to beg and plead for 5-star "indian spicy" to get something which tickles a bit. However, a fairly light (for me anyway) coating of this stuff causes pretty intense pain and sweating and cleans the sinuses out. Since it does not have a strong flavor compared to the heat it is probably best used to kick up the heat on dishes that get their flavor from other spice. I don't know what is going on with the couple of reviewers who think it isn't that spicy -- it might be possible they got one of the similar looking jars of powder from other companies, or some other mixup.

This stuff is too good. I'd consider myself a girl who loves her food pretty damn spicy. I eat habanero peppers like nothing so I didn't think this would've been that big of a deal. I was dead wrong. I made the mistake of sprinking a pretty hefty amount of this stuff on my burger. Worst idea EVER. I literally thought I was about to die. As soon as that powder hit my tongue my eyes started to tear up, my vision started to shake a bit, I started to sweat heavily, I felt like vomiting but I couldn't, and my mouth was on freakin fire. I ran to the fridge hoping to find some milk. NONE. So I ran to the sink and literally ran my face under the cool water for over 10 mins. Whenever I'd try to gargle it just worsened the burn. Long story short, its been 30 mins and I can STILL feel the burn on my lips and throbbing on the roof of my mouth.

This stuff, at a minimum, will melt your face. I'm fairly convinced it tried to burn my house down, and my wife continues to leer wantonly at the bottle...It's that hot.

I previously went through Volcano Dust 2 and this replaced my recently dispatched bottle of Volcano Dust 4. It's is exceptionally angrier than either of those.

Be warned: if you're thinking 'i like red pepper flakes on my pizza, perhaps I should order this,' please punch yourself in the face and close your browser (in that order). If you want to experience Khaleesi and dragonfire...Buy it. I, for one, think it's worth the $$$. It's awesome.

Super hot and good flavor too. A tiny bit goes a long way. I would just tap a tiny bit on the side of your plate and just touch your bite of food to it and increase to your taste.

While I knew it wouldn't include a lot of powder, due to the size of the product; I thought the product would at least meet a standard of heat. This powder tastes really good but doesn't pack high or even long lasting heat. I make my own seasonings that pack much more punch and only use habanero and jalepeno (with many other veggies). I would give it a 2 1/2 stars but you can only give full stars...so I rounded up.
