Sooo... I was quoted over $100 to remove files from an old Ribbon cable hard drive. OR try out this product, and let me tell you. This was too easy and the product worked as described. Hook it up to your computer and old hard drive, connect the power cable for the device and then open the drive up on the computer. I'm so happy I invested in this as I was able to retrieve all my files in a simple manner and for way more then half the price I would of been charged. I'd happy recommend this to anyone looking to do the same.

This USB 3.0 SATA adapter worked really well with my old SATA DVD reader/writer. My new PC case came without an optical drive insert cavity. Although I don't require an optical drive often, there were a couple times where I needed to read/write from an optical disk. I have yet to use it for external hard drive back ups, but I think it'll be just fine.

It works! I lost my DVR's power supply for my CCTV and this one fits! The generic plug have 2.1mm center measurement but this one is 2.5mm. For your reference, I have a LOREX 4 Cameras System.
