Quality: Faux leather. It's a nice feel. Feels a bit cheap when opened, but it does have quite a solid weight. Not feeling the stoppers. When you open the box, they attach cheap ribbons to stop the box from opening to it's fullest.
Design: Great dark look. Box is nice.
The lock is completely useless. Key is very cheap. It doesn't exactly keep anything safe, but if you're just buying it as a displace case, it is nice. Small key and lock hole. You're better off just leaving it unlocked.

Wonderful invention for storing ties and keeping them from creasing, getting dusty etc. Another cool feature I didn't realize from the graphic but liked once I got the product in possession is the top is not a mirror as the photo implies, but is clear glass so you can see which ties you have in this tie box without having to open the lid.
