Replaced the mechanism in a $200 clock with large hands. Lasted 2.5 years. Wish it had lasted longer but for $13 it worked well enough. Just ordered another.

Bought a 30" custom made Amish barnwood clock whose movement failed almost immediately. Searched on line and learned about these movements. Bought and installed without problem and it keeps accurate time.

Unfortunately this clock movement does not keep time. At first I though my battery needed replacing, but that wasn't the problem. Fresh batteries have made no difference, so I have a clock that still won't keep time. Disappointing.
