Nice charger, but not a miracle cure

I bought this because my older Everstart unit died and I was hopeful this would help me with a battery for my Watchdog sump pump backup unit. I have tried it for several days and it continues to get an error message. The unit itself is nice quality and has worked well on my other batteries, but this will not "Fix" a bad battery. At least mine. For the price, features and quality, I would recommend it.
It is appropriate for many vehicle types

This is a great charger. With its many modes and low current charging, it is appropriate for many long term charging from motorcycles, to ATV and snowmobiles, to cars and trucks. I highly recommend this product for vehicles that are not run at least once a week.
It works fine as a charger

One big disadvantage of this charger is that the DC power cord side is incredibly thick. I bought this to replace a regular CTek charger, which I have running out of the trunk lid of my car. Not possible to do with this one. It works fine as a charger. I am not sure this is worth the extra money over the regular charger.

Seems to work well enough wish the connection to the battery was longer, just long enough to make out from under the seat in my Harley Road King.
Harley Battery Lasted 9 Years.

this is only the Second CTek I've Purchased in 10 Years! this first is still working great on my Harley, this one I bought because my wife's Harley came with a Battery Tender and in ten Years, she's' purchased 3 Harley Tenders and 4 batteries. I only replaced my Battery after 9 years! Hopefully this will reduce her Cost on Batteries Too!
