I absolutely love this stuff. I've suffered from canker sores since I was a little girl. I've tried other products and this is the only thing that works fast and for hours. I believe this is my third tube in 3 yrs. I cannot find it anywhere anymore, I've searched pharmacy stores and my grocery stores where I usually bought it but they must not carry it anymore. My wife and I use to use Zilactin all the time, but not for cold sores. Although the company that makes Zilactin don't mention it, it is and excellent product for chigger and mosquito bites and to use on poison oak and poison ivy blisters. It stops the itch and seals the blisters off. We use to buy it at the local drugstore or in the pharmacy at Wal Mart or Target, but it is no longer available locally because those outlets sell the more expensive product Abreva for cold sore use. Excellent product.

Always the best way to hide those ugly things and at the same time heal them! The way I use it goes like this:
1- At first feeling of it, add zilactin to the area and make sure that every time you do it you clean it well and apply, keep going until either disappears or the bump gets bigger.
2- Once the bump is big or broken, same thing, clean the area well with hidrogen peroxide and apply the zilactin and keep doing it and make sure you let it and don't bother, if you poke it or moleste it it will break and will turn white and the idea is to have it seal and hidden.
After all 90% of the times the sore will go away or the whole thing will last about 3-5 days.
