BestLuggage Tag EVER

these things are awesome. It is made of metal and I had no problem going through security with this tag on my carry on. I also put it on my backpack I go hiking with, as a safety tag so if i end up unconscious with my backpack on at least I know 1) the tag will be intact (it's metal) and 2) the writing will still be legible. I've had luggage tags in the past that get caught on things and rip, but this thing got caught on things and stayed completely intact. i would def buy these again to put on all my luggage and as gifts too.
Great quality, one minor piece was broken though.

These ties are definitely nice quality and the packaging is probably the best you will ever find for luggage tags. These look like they will stand up pretty well against harsh treatment (which is what I bought them for as I am actually using them to label equipment bags). I like the cable connectors as those will be a lot more durable.
My only complaint, which is why they are 4 not 5 stars, is that on one of the tags, the clear "shield" that covers the nameplate was actually broken off - a large piece was missing from the bottom corner. While it is only barely noticeable when it is inserted into the tag, it is still unfortunate that a part of it was broken with what the cost of these tags were.

Don't let the price dissuade you, these are worth every penny.

So, you're looking at these and thinking, "$20 for a set of luggage tags?"
And you're not alone. This is what I thought when I first saw them. But I needed a set of luggage tags, and quickly as the plastic ones I had were mysteriously destroyed by the TSA,
So, I thought for about 5 seconds and decided to order these. They were delivered on time thanks to Amazon Prime.
And when I opened the box, I was shocked at what I saw.
These tags are METAL. Wow.
And not only are the tags metal, but the cord used to attach them to the luggage is metal.
I was impressed by the quality of these. I bought the tags with the black finish and it was quality work.
So, my $.02 is to not cheap out on your luggage tags, these are well worth it.
Thanks ProudGuy!

This tag is nice and sturdy which I love; however it says that it also acts as a business card holder. I filled out my address and name on the info card, placed my business card on the back side and went on a trip. When I landed at my destination, the business card was no longer there. Just something to keep in mind if you want your info on both sides of the tag. For the price, it is very sturdy and serves the purpose of keeping my name on the bag so I still would recommend it.
Best luggage tags I've ever owned

I had to travel with my mother and her folding wheelchair and Bipap machine. I wanted to tag those items where I was sure the tags would be secure. These aluminum tags with cable fastener were perfect. Despite being gate checked on the plane 4 times, the tag on the wheelchair survived intact. Bipap machines are very expensive and not easily replaceable. Although I didn't let it out of my sight, knowing the tag was firmly attached made me worry a lot less. I did use the suggestion of another purchaser to cover the ink on the personalization for the tag with tape underneath the plastic window. We didn't go through any downpours but there was some moisture at one of the stops and the tags didn't blur. I liked the tags so much I bought two more of them for my bags.
