good but has a slight bitter after taste.

I find that this agave nectar has a slight bitter after taste. Its still pretty good but I will be using it where that bitterness won't be noticed as much, like in cooking applications. I'll find a different agave to put in drinks or over fruit, one without the bitterness. It's still a good bargin and useful

I love this raw agave and it is SO expensive in the grocery stores. Well worth purchasing it in this larger container. I just put some in a smaller bottle and keep refilling it. Delicious and far healthier than refined sugar. I get this on auto ship now.

Well, first I'll say that at the price I paid, it's a good value. I use this bulk bottle to refill the smaller squeeze one.
What the description does not tell you, is that the bottle seems to be made of that corn plastic. Although it is stamped with #1 recycle code,
it is the same thin, crinkly plastic as those corn water bottles.
I am flagging this fact, because if you are like me, you may be sensitive to what these corn-based bottles leach into the contents.
I am allergic to corn, and when I consume water from those bottles, I get a whopping migraine. So needless to say,
I was disappointed when I thought I was buying an organic agave nectar at a great bulk price, only to discover what it was packaged in.
I wrote to the producer of the product, to confirm the source of the "plastic", but the reply was not specific enough to be considered, helpful.
Rather than send it back, I have given it away to those not allergic to corn. One last thought...
the contents of the container may be organic, but the corn used to make the bottle, is most likely, GMO.

Excellent quality - better price when you purchase in larger size container.

We use this product rather than sugar for most recipes. Excellent quality and buying in larger quantity size container is a much better price.
Give this a try and get rid of all those artificial sweetners!

This is some great tasting sweetner. I like that it has a low glycemic index and it does not ruin the taste of my iced green tea. I saved an empty smaller bottle of the same sweetner. Now my husband uses this huge bottle to refill my smaller bottle that I use everyday. No need for sugar or artificial sweeteners. Good bye all the yellow, blue, and pink packets!
