I saw a chef holding this pasta cutter in a magazine or book. Originally, I could only find it online in one place. Luckily, it's now carried on Amazon. This will outlast me and I hope it will be a family heirloom. If you know someone that loves to make pasta, they will absolutely love this cutter!

Functional, beautiful, and unlikely to rust. I also have a LaGondola ravioli stamp.

The brass wheel and attachment are exactly like my Italian grandma's (1873-1955) that is still in use in my family. Beautiful and extremely sturdy!! The wooden handle too, but then most cutters have wooden handles like it. I called my sister and brother the day it arrived. I told them I couldn't ever remember being so excited about a package in the mail. I haven't used it yet but will when we (my sister and I) make our family-passed-down swiss chard, pork sausage and beef brains raviolis (usually 600+ individual ravs) in November for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was close to the Sonoma County fires this week and packed my backpack, ready to evacuate at a minutes notice. Drivers license, passport, clothes/ shoes, underwear, toiletries, photos and my new priceless ravioli cutter!!! I'm 82 and will pass this down to my kids to continue my family's legacy. My sister has my grandma's and she will do the same for her kids.

I get to make pasta everyday and I love it. I bought the roller because I wanted the sharper angles on some of my filled pastas. I love the roller and it works great on a cutting board or wood table (has trouble and needs something to grip on to with a stainless steel prep table). My agnolotti have never looked better.
