Well supposed to go up and down depending on weight of remaining seeds. Stopped after a couple of days. I think seeds get stiuck between platform of well and sides.

Not very convenient to fill. I don't think this will work at all during the cold winter months. It doesn't slide very easily, or evenly on the plastic cables when the weather is warm. It seems like it will just freeze in place when it's cold. The birds do use it, it's just a pain to take down and refill, which I have to do quite often.

Love the concept. The only problem is...it still gets damp or wet depending on the weather so you may end up throwing more out in unexpected rains. It works great for larger birds to have room to stoop and that's why I bought this one. Love the look as well.

We love this bird feeder. At our place we have a bunch of birds (different kinds) and wanted something that would allow us to watch the birds better. This bird feeder is nicely made, easy to wash, and holds up well. The birds love it and we are seeing birds that we haven't seen before. We saw the same one at the store and it was more expensive there. We bought this one for around $16, and we are so glad we bought it. When the bird feeder is empty there is a piece on the bottom (inside) that essentially shows you it's empty. I would recommend this product!
