Okay, gaffer's tape is pricey. It's totally worth it. Tears easily, even in both directions. It comes in different colors, holds strong, lasts a long time, and removes easily without residue. I've used it to hide cords along a baseboard. After 4 years it came off without a problem. I love this tape and use it for a variety of projects. I even gave a roll to my kids when they went to college so they could secure their wires and cables without being an eyesore. Highly recommended. Why this isn't available in a brick and mortar big box store is amazing.

I absolutely love this cloth tape. It has a very firm grip on many different surfaces and not difficult to remove from most surfaces if needed. My cats scratched up the arms and sides of a reclining chair of mine and I used the brown tape to cover all the torn claw marks. It worked so well and the cats left it alone after that. It didn't look half bad either. It was a quick-fix job and it the tape matched my brown chair quite well. hahahaha! I recommend this tape and it is very durable.
Budget stealth strips

I used this on my saddle hunting climbing sticks. I wanted to dampen the sound but real stealth strips are so expensive I wouldn't but enough to totally cover the sticks. This product is NOT as sound deadening as stealth strips but is waaayy cheaper.

I like this tape and it has worked well, but when I look at the price it clearly states that the unit cost is $0.11/foot. Hmm. Not sure where the pricing guy went to school, but if I take 30 yardsx3 ft/yd I get 90 feet. Divide the current price of $19.49 by 90 feet you get... wait for it... $0.2166 per foot. If you cut that in half, you get $0.108/ft or $0.11 if you round up. So the price is actually per foot per inch of width since the roll is 2" wide. I'd say there's some false advertising going on here. Unit costs are a good way to compare prices, but in this case somebody is lying.
