I'm no drummer. Bought these for my 7&9 yr old boys 3 months ago when they started lessons. They do not come with set up instructions, Even so, these were very easy to figure out. I had quite the buzz when they were delivered and I managed just fine. I later discovered youtube videos that gave excellent instruction.
Price wise they ran about the same as the local music shop but these very large boxes were delivered to my door for free. Can't beat that.
Quality of construction and hardware is good. Very easy to manipulate components so each of my boys gets their own 'fit'. My boys are by no means gentle on them and they seem very sturdy. The sound they produce is boss to quote my son. I find it pleasing to my ears as well.
