This is my second time ordering this product. The package is a little different but I noticed that with other flavors in the store as well. Unfortunately, the taste is completely different too. It is more spicy in taste and reminds me of the cajun flavored rice. It is no longer rich and buttery in flavor with hints of garlic. I wish I could return the entire box. I am hoping it was only isolated to that one box and will try another box and pray

My local store discontinued selling this product and now I can get it on Amazon. I am from Louisiana and this product tastes exactly like the roux that I would spend a couple of hours making....this is so much easier...I add already roasted chicken and sliced smoke sausage and maybe a little green onion tops. All other seasonings are already in the mix. I do cook extra rice in a side dish because I prefer my gumbo with more rice. You can even thin it out a bit to mellow out the salt and pepper seasoning in the mix if you prefer. I ordered a case of 12 for my cupboard and it is priced at or below my previous price at Walmart. Zatarain's products are the best you can get for the flavor of Louisiana/New Orleans.
