lip on edge of bottom holds too much water in grounds when done dripping and the filter allows fines through so that there is dust in the bottom of your coffee cup. Return required a follow-up to get the full refund. They tried to get away with only a 33% refund with the excuse of an automated mistake the first time.

My filter baskets arrived and I love them. They fit my Mainstay 5-cup coffee maker (Walmart brand) and I think the coffee taste better. I was going to also buy a cone shaped filter basket for my RV's coffee maker. However, since I had two, I bought another $9 Mainstay coffee maker and will be using the second filter for that one. The bottom is solid and the handle folds down to fit inside the coffee maker.
Pros: No more paper coffee filters to buy or throw away.
Cleans up easily. Just dump the filters into the compost bucket and rinse out.
Coffee tastes better.
Cons: Some assembly required. Must attach the handles to the filter. (Not a big deal)
Might find another use for the second one and need to purchase more.

Work well and easy to clean

Got these to use in the Mr. Coffee 4-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, DRX5. They work well and fit perfectly. With the two pack, I have an extra if one tears or otherwise breaks. I don't know how durable they are as I have only used them a few times. But they are easy to clean, keep fine grounds out of the finished product and you don't have to bother with continued purchases of paper filters.

I like these but some grinds get through and it is a little messy to clean up, with the grinds in the sink,, you can never get them all into the garbage bag. I went back to paper filters,,, so much easier for cleanup too.
Definitely worth it, great quality

Easy to clean, I've been using one of them for almost 4 months now and its still going strong with no holes or problems. Saves you from having to use the wasteful paper filters.
