These trains are pretty cute. I took away a star because one came with a lot of chipped paint on it already. If you have a baby or toddler that puts things in their mouth a lot still and chews on things I would NOT recommend. But they do work well with our wooden train tracks and our twins don't seem to mind the chipped paint.
They are not colorful like in the picture

These are cute little train cars, however, they do not stick together well and the picture is misleading. They are not colorful like in the picture. Most of the cars I got were black and white with a little bit of color elsewhere. My 2 year old likes them though. I was just disappointed in the colors.

These trains are poorly made and came apart the first week. My 2 year old has adapted and continues to play with the broken trains and wheel portions separate. He has a good imagination. The price is low for the number of trains and some are still together, but be warned some will fall apart.

I have been using Brio trains since I was 3 years old. Now I've got my own kids using and loving them. These trains fit my 35 year old Brio tracks as well as they fit brand knew off brand Brio track.
On this set all 12 cars came without flaws. I saw some of the other reviews about the cars being broken or defective out of the box. I did not experience that.
The magnets are strong and I can pull all 12 cars without the magnets coming apart. The wheels roll cleanly, none of them are stuck or seized or anything.
The box they come in is nice for storage, but there is no lid on it. So it has to be laid flat or everything will just fall out of it.
The quality is a little lower than a Brio brand train. But not much. And not even close to enough that a 5 year old will notice.
All in all, I highly recommend these.

Classic Toy

We love these wooden trains. They are a classic toy with magnets to connect them. Our grandson easily figured out how to connect the cars together and at 18 months easily put them on the tracks (sold separately). He plays with them all the time, with or without the tracks. He lines them up and :drives" them across the tables and floors. I wish that there were more styles to choose from to add to this set. One of the best things about these trains, and a rule of his parents, is that they do not scream name-brand commercial characters.
