I bought this along with the Steel Dragon Benchtop Wire Stripping Machine for the short pieces of wire that I had. Once you learn how to hold it, it works beautifully. You can cut the insulation faster than someone else can peel it off. I am very satisfied with it's performance and the price was inexpensive.

Easily select wire size

Well thought out idea, these wire strippers do the job! Easily select wire size, set knife depth and start pulling your wire through. I use these all the time for removing several feet at a time of used wire, and thanks to this little tool I now have a stock pile of copper laying around for scrap
Awesome little tool

Awesome little tool, got more done with it in one evening than I had with a box cutter in several months prior. Tip from previous reviews that really needs repeating because it helps so much... if your wire has any kind of "superslick" outer jacket on top of the insulation, go one size larger and strip that off first, then make a second pass for the actual insulation. You'll save yourself a lot of jamming that way.
