I bought this ammo can for storing my loaded Pmags and GI mags. This can will easily hold 15-30rnd mags (with dust covers) standing up and easily fits another 4 laying between the rows. I currently only have 13, so I arranged them in the pic's so you can see what I mean. The can holds the weight well, handle is strong. I would definitely buy again.

I really like this can! It is very well made and the foam inserts hold the mags very well. I filled my can with LANCER SYSTEMS L5AWM ADVANCED WARFIGHTER MAGAZINES. These mags are a step up from MagPul and fit perfect in this can. This can would be perfect for anyone competing in 3-gun or if you feel the need to have 450 rounds of 5.56 on the ready (a prepper must!).
I have to admit I was a bit sceptical of it being plastic. All of my ammo is stored in Mil Spec ammo cans (Mostly .50 Cal cans). Once I had it in my hands my mind was at ease do to the construction. Since it would only hold 450 rounds the weight will be significantly lighter than a .50 Cal can full of 5.56.

Great storage for loaded mags. Was able to fit 15, 30-round Pmags (with dust covers attached) and another 450 rounds on stripper clips (in cardboard sleeves), plus a few "spoons" for easy loading. See attached photo. So this one (albeit heavy!) box will hold 15 mags plus the ammo to reload each one. Nice, compact, air-tight storage method.

There are questions here as to whether the magazines (Magpul PMAG 30) will fit when using the Dust/Impact covers and allow the lid to close as it should. The answer is yes. No problem.
