I have a 9 year old son who has a disability and takes a lot of medications every day. I am a Nurse so I am used to giving out a lot of medications but the 3 times a day routine with our busy schedules was getting to be too much. We bought these and have been so pleased! I fill them up once a week and keep them all locked up, which I highly recommend if you have children in the house! Each day I just leave out the one pill box for that day, they are all labeled with the day of the week and each compartment is labeled morning, noon and night! My son just developed pneumonia last week so he had a lot of extra medications, I think he was taking 16 pills each morning, some of them very large, and the case had plenty of room! You could probably fit 30 pills or more in the morning compartment, the other two are smaller but still can fit lots of pills! I really can't think of too many situations where this case would not be big enough. The case is not too difficult to open but definitely would not come open on it's own. In my opinion this is well worth the $15! Actually I am surprised it is priced that low, the quality is really good. Anyone who has ever used a pill case before knows they are usually very cheap and you feel like you are going to break them when you open them. This one actually feels well made, I'm very impressed!

This is perfect for someone like me that needs to take medication at three different times during the day, as opposed to the readily available pill boxes at big box stores that typically offer 1X or 2X daily. I had read reviews about this product that the lids were a little difficult to "pry" open - I can see where it is challenging but it hasn't been a problem for me, and shouldn't be for someone that has even slight fingernails. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the lids are challenging to keep open wide enough to put in several pills, especially fish oil sized pills. This would be absolutely perfect if the lids came off entirely. Not something I can't work around and not something that would keep me from recommending this product to the fellow 3X per day pill takers...
Update: Based on another reviewer's picture of the boxes with lids off, I now see that the lids do come off and can be replaced back on the box. I'm not sure that's what's intended, but I'll go with it and raise my rating to 5 stars......

I take several prescriptions and larger pills and supplements (fish oil capsules...those things are huge) multiple times per day and this pill organizer really helps me not to forget or miss doses. I like that it is separated into "morning", "noon", and "bedtime" so that I can split the supplements up over the day. After taking my AM pills, I throw that day's container into my lunch bag so that I can remember to take my midday pills with lunch. The compartments are plenty big for multiple large pills (like said fish oils or multivitamins) so I never run out of room. Each individual day's pill case is roughly 2" x 2" so this isn't something that you'd be likely to carry around in a pants pocket. My ONLY complaint is that the lids are REALLY hard to open. The good is that they never open in my purse or lunch bag by accident. The bad is that I have to use my thumbnail to pry the lids open every time. If you don't have strong nails you would need something small like a toothpick, ball-point pen tip, or a tip of a butter knife to get them open. Not sure that they would be user-friendly for someone with arthritis or weakness in their hands. The only concern I have is about them is the longevity of the lids: they are "scored" plastic hinges that look like they could break with repeated bending far open (like when I'm filling the boxes). But overall I like them, they meet my needs, and I'd probably buy them again unless a better solution comes along.

I so badly wanted to give this product a 5 star review, but I had to deduct one star after the first time I used it the edge of the plastic lid cracked (see images).

There are so many awesome things about this pill sorter. First it's big. It holds all of the supplements I take each day, which as a nursing mother is a LOT. I also have ADHD and take several supplements for that that need to be taken at different times of the day. So having the ability to separate into morning, noon, and bedtime is perfect. My favorite feature was one I hadnt even considered when buying this product. Being able to stack the days of the week in any order I would like is awesome. I am not good at remembering to refill my pill sorter every Saturday, so the Sun-Sat sorters always bothered me. I would forget to refill the container until Monday or Tuesday. With this sorter I can refill the containers on any day of the week and just adjust which day is at the top of the stack. It's great. So now I have a routine of filling my sorter after my kids go to school on Wednesday rather than having to try to remember Saturday while my 4 children are home. The size of this sorter is very reasonable as well, especially considering the fact it holds so much. I also like the feature of being able to completely remove the lids from the container for easy filling, then just snapping them back on when I'm done. Finally, I really like the ability to grab one day's worth of supplements and take it with me rather than having to bring the whole sorter if I'm going to be out running errands that day. Before I had to either bring the entire sorter or dump that day's worth of pills into a plastic baggie that would end up at the bottom of my purse, ripped open, or forgotten.

Really the only negative thing I have to say about this is that the lids are pretty cheaply made. The first time I filled the containers I snapped the lids shut and the edges of several of them cracked and small shards broke off. For now this doesn't seem to effect the function, but it's bound to cause problems with them staying closed eventually. I guess for the price I wouldn't expect it to be ultra sturdy, but breaking the first use kind of sucks.

I couldn't find a box that would fit all my new meds. I take maybe 20 pills a day -including large fish oil pills. These bats are large are deep. I fit 3 fish oil pills plus 6 others with room to spare in the evening area alone.

I was having a really hard time remembering my meds - some of which are extremely important. I now take this with me daily and has already proven helpful.

I will say the top is hard to open and bend at first. A little wiggling and it eased up. I dropped it one star for this. I wish there was an option that the evening one was the big compartment - but I manage.

The compartments do not open easily once snapped shut. So it's not easy to spill. I'm glad I got this one
