It's better if the surface is smooth to get better coverage

If the product set up to quick it would be human error. I have used this product several times. On large and small projects. It's better if the surface is smooth to get better coverage. It gives a great surface and safe for fish and plants.
Awesome for a pond!

It's tough to spread but a bit of elbow grease does the job and a good roller. Use shoes you will throw out. I use this in my pond that had a big crack. I put cement in first and then this a week later the pond looks great and the black color makes the fish look better.
