Chromatic lenses look great but it gives you away! go with Smoke, yellow, or clear.

The Chromatic lenses look awesome, but in terms of utility thats about it. I tend to buy too much gear so i have clear, black, and now high contrast yellow lenses to choose from. I gave the Chromatic Fire to a friend who did not mind the reflective nature.
For speedballers, you can see the paint in the air so much better with clear lenses and that allows you to dip your head out of the way a split-second earlier. I have had guys say my lenses stood out a lot on the sunny field, not that speedball involves a lot of sneaking but it does help you avoid attracting any extra attention.
For Woodsballers, the chromatic looks cool but obviously does not help with camo. And on a field with buildings or shaded areas, it can be hard for guys outside of said area to spot you due to the intense contrast. But the reflective lenses with be shining bright! Especially if you are in the house looking out a window for the added light to reflect. I had players tell me it looked like a floating mask was shooting that them.
Again, all of this is to say, great lenses that have never fogged up even when playing in the rain and cold weather, i just wish i had thought about how the color might give me away before i spent $35 on the Chromatics!

Man I never thought a Lens could make that much difference when playing in the woods. I normally play speedball but I have a few friends who just got into paintball and they only play woodsball. I was playing with a clear lens for some time but it was pretty easy to spot me due to my face poping out so much in the wooded environment. Tried a smoke lens and that helped me from sticking out like a sore thumb but it made it difficult to distinguish players from normal objective if they were just camping behind trees/objects. This lens changed everything. It gave me that low key contrast that didn't give my position away as much as the clear and it gave me the ability to spot players so easy. It highlights the colors so you can notice so much more then with either lens.

Looks and fits great. Giving 3 stars because I had to buy this lens to replace the tinted lens that came with the mask after 2 practices and 1 tournament. Paint leaked in between the dual layer on the lens. After I purchased this new lens i realized I could peel back the inner layer of the bad lens and clean off the paint which was nice but should have never happened. The gasket or sealant or whatever adhesive they use is not strong enough. Worse case scenario I could have peeled off the inner lens and used it as a single pane lens. These lenses are not cheap so they shouldn't be made cheap.

Lens fits perfectly in any virtue vio mask. Picture suggests the lens is reflective. However, it's very transparent. This could be a preference but I like the mirror look with lenses. Basically a reflection that doesn't let you see through it. You can see through the lens when looking from the outside. With the smoke lens for the same mask you can't. Also, the film on the inside of the mask began to tear off after two uses. I'm sure it's just an issue with that specific lens sent. Mass production defect I'm assuming. Still worth mentioning though. Three stars for usability, color and function. Subtracting two stars for defect and transparent lens tint. Again my preference.

I love this lens and use it all the time. Its very clear, crisp and bright. I play a lot of woodsball in the trees so its extremely helpful to have a crisp clear view.
I use it on bright sunny fields, but it can be more challenging than a tinted lens in this area. I do carry a tinted lens in my gear bag, but just haven't felt the need to put it on during the sunny games. I ended up adding a visor to my goggles (Vio Ascend).
I highly recommend this visor and plan to get a second as a backup.
