I bought this for my home for the fly problem when the farmer spreads manure 3 times a year. I had it plugged in and it was working great for a couple of weeks. One morning I heard my smoke alarms going off and ran downstairs to find the thing burning up! Fortunately my circuit breaker tripped and saved my home! I opened it up and found a bunch of circuitry burned up in it. I called the company and emailed them and after many many attempts, they said to mail it to them at my expense so they could look at it. So I'm supposed to mail this thing in at MY expense so they can LOOK at it?!! I sent them several pictures and they want to look at it?! It's sitting in a box in my garage. I'm not wasting 1 cent on them! Don't waste your money!

It's twilight, lovely twilight. The legions of mosquitoes that have been chewing on me for weeks are starting to rise. I had a terrible mosquito problem in my house, blaming the neighbors and then discovering my large water storage tank on my back patio had it's tubing pulled out and the beasties were reproducing in it. I paid extra for one day shipping and I think this handy zapper killed everything that was in the house in one night. I did add one thing and I don't know if it made a difference but I'll probably keep doing it if they are bad in the house and that is add a large chunk of dry ice in a plastic container that sits on top of the unit. The dry ice releases a lot of CO2 which attracts the mosquitos over to the unit. So grateful to have this as I had spent a week in misery doing things that were not working.
Update: Now that the mosquitos are out of the house I keep this in the garage where they like to follow my dogs into the car. No more swerving and swatting mosquitos in the car. So happy to have this.

Waste of money. Bugs are walking on the electrical grid. I tried to return and it stated "not eligible for return"

This thing is AMAZING! I have been struggling with a sudden infestation of houseflies in my house and swatting them one by one was a losing battle. I ordered this fantastic piece of machinery yesterday and opted for the free one-day shipping with my Prime membership. As soon as it was delivered today, I unwrapped it and plugged it in. I had barely turned around to walk out of the kitchen when I heard my first "Pop!" as the first fly bit the dust. It's been less than 5 minutes and I am now up to 8 flies zapped! The sound is shocking loud the first few times, but then you get more used to it. It was loud enough to freak out my dog a little but nothing too major and he seems to be coming to terms with it already. If my opinion changes on this item or if I have any issues with long term use, I will circle back, but for now, this is a 5-star rating and I LOVE IT!
