It's going to work but to be honest it's very thin. I kinda had a feeling it would be for the price but it's good to be aware of it before you buy. I don't imagine it's very comfortable.

Wasn't that thick, and came with 2 holes in it! Was not worth the price and I am disappointed! Couldn't return though bc I needed it the next day immediately and didn't have time to find another one.. do not recommend!

We've had a bunch of these over the years with 4 little kids in daycare, and they just always end up with rips and tears within a year. I assume part of that is little kiddos picking at them during naptime, but it would be great if they'd hold up better. Last time I bought the thick one, but accidentally got the thin one this time and it feels SUPER thin. Will go back to thick next time. Still have a 3yo and 2yo in daycare so I expect to go through about 5 more... : )

The worst sleep mat I have ever seen. The pad is a half of inch thick. How could that be comfortable for a kid, any weigh on it makes it on the ground.

Super thin little mat. I don't think that it provides any more padding than a folded blanket might. the plastic is intact on arrival, though I don't imagine that this would hold up to much transporting or repeated use.
