These locks are great for sliding glass doors that have to maintain a good seal because they are so narrow. I use them on a large cigar humidor in my business and because of the tight seal installed by the manufacturer of the humidor, these are the only locks that will fit on them. The 3M self stick adhesive is very strong too. I have had my cases and these locks on them for about 5 months now and they haven't budged yet despite heavy use.
