Simple to install and works very well. I couldn't get the fob to work however, it's not something important to me so I didn't try that hard. It's much nicer being able to go for a walk around the RV park and not take keys! We no longer have the standard key that everyone seems to have. It is a uniquely designed key that is completely different than the original key. Good value and I would almost say a must have security or safety change!

I'll summarize all the pros. I don't find any negative points yet, but if I do, I'll update this review eventually.
1. QUALITY: The lock is all metal, sturdy, works perfectly.
2. SIMPLICITY, EASY TO INSTALL AND SETUP: Setting up (and resetting the code) is a breeze. Push that little button on the inside facing panel of the lock and reset your passcode. The instructions are voice based, NOT a complicated app based (or other complex platform) that needs complicated configuring and an IVY League Master's degree with machine-level-programming. So, even a tech-fearing elderly person can get their code set up, and get the lock working within a few seconds. Push that button, and listen to the simple voice instruction.
3. COMPATIBILITY: I verified that this fits in, and indeed can replace all of the locks shown in one of the seller's pictures on this AD. Just make sure your lock is in the "compatible" section of that picture. This particular model fits the MOST commonly used, "universal" (2.75 inches x 3.75 inches) door lock hole, and this is what about 80% of the RVs on the market use.
4. ACCESS: With this lock you will have 3 different ways to get in. You get 1 wireless key fob. (You can order more of you like). And you also have the keypad just in case. And if the battery dies, you have a physical old fashioned under and turn key. This thing uses the common AA batteries (4). So that's another plus, no need to run around looking for some specialized battery.
5. LOOKS: It looks good, doesn't draw attention to itself, just blends in and looks almost like a regular key-only lock.
I am very happy with the product. Took me about 10 minutes to install this. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to replace their default tv locks with this one. Thanks!

Peace of mind & Easy install

It took about 20 minutes to change out the door handles on our 5th wheel. I like having the peace of mind the our door lock is more secure with this lock. We have property by the lake and when we would leave our 5th wheel I worried about it and the universal lock that was easily accessible with the same cut keys that anyone with the same lock could gain entrance. So I ordered this lock system. I had it all changed out in about 20 minutes.
My husband came back from fishing, went to open the door and was surprised by the new lock system. It does come with only one key fob but it's easy to order a second one and pair it to the lock. Great investment for security and piece of mind.

I have had a couple of other keyless entry locks on my camper. They only lasted about a year. I decided to go with RVlock this time and am glad I did. I don't know yet if it will last longer than the others, but the build quality is far superior so I imagine it will. The number pad is a lot better than the others. The action using the number pad and remote a lot smoother and initial set up is easier. Don't mess with any other brand and just get this one.

Installed the RVLock this weekend while we were camping and it is well worthy upgrade. Not sure how your family is but mine loves to wait till the door is locked to remember they need something from inside. It's become a running joke that we have to lock and unlock the door at least 3 times before we can leave.
The quality of the lock, the packaging and the key fob was far beyond my expectations. Lock also came with some nice RVLock stickers that look like a security company, I'm a sucker for stickers.
The lock feels beefy and the installation was pretty easy. Getting my old lock out was the hardest part since the lock was sealed with silicone, having a safety razor is my recommendation. Keep the screws to your current strike plate in case the holes are to big for the screws that came with the RVLock.
Programming the key fob is just pushing two buttons and entering the new code is rather simple as well. Instructions that came with the lock are well written and easy to follow.
I will update the review should anything happen to the lock concerning sturdiness and battery life. However the lock comes with a Lifetime Warranty of 99 years which is a huge bonus and peace of mind.
