I went from a cheap $30 screen to this, and let me just say WOW! The difference from a PVC to an actual screen is huge, this thing is 100 times better if not even more. The velvet boarder looks amazing, the screen pops to life, assembly was a breeze, I love it. I debated between Silver Ticket and the other ones out there for a while, but definitely go with Silver Ticket. The build quality is just remarkable (I've assembled and disassembled mine multiple times with moving) and have yet to have a problem.

I love, love, love this screen. This is my first screen - bought to go with my first projector and I couldn't be happier. The projector looks great against even a white wall .. but this screen takes it to another level. The black velvet-y frame really absorbs the light and makes the image pop. Since I have to use keystone adjustment for my projector and placement, this is awesome. Based on the quality of materials, looks and sturdiness, etc . .I think this is a very fairly priced screen. They are not all that hard to assemble, either. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble mine. I had watched some youtube videos and was thinking the middle brace would be tough to get in place by myself . .but it wasn't bad at all. I have no idea what is meant by 4k ultra HD ready, though . .isn't my wall 4k Ultra HD ready?

Excellent product that was packed adequately and shipped quickly. All the parts were included with a few extras of the small items.

I'm very impressed with how well engineered this product is. The frame is extruded aluminum wrapped in a nice quality velvet felour that acts as a light absorber so that you don't have to prefectly place your projector. No, this doesn't mean you can move it amy more than a few inches beyond the lens limits, but it gives you needed flexibility for those with ceiling mounts for example. The screen itself is a nice quality stretchy vinyl that also acts to tension itself against the frame, thus removing any wrinkles from being rolled for shipment.

Assembly was straightforward. If found the instructions well done and illustrations appropriate for each step. Just be sure to follow each step in order. Take your time and know what you need to do and why. Don't try to be smarter than the instructions to save time. I don't think you can improve on them in any way. Many here have had trouble with the center tensioning/support bar. Just place the bar in the slots on the top and bottom with one side of the bar centered in the joint opposite of where you are working. I then loosene a ffew of the tabs that hold the screen to the edges of the frame. Then I used a rubber mallet to tap the support bar along the groove nearest you while making sure the opposite end of the bar stays in place. Once the bar is in place just pull the screen over the tabs again. Voila. you are done.

For me the one thing I did do is after assembly of the frame but before installing the screen. I place the frame only against the wall supported by a couple chairs. Without the screen in the way, it's much easier to see where to place the screws into the wall. I then hung the frame (without the screen installed yet), to make sure it was where I wanted. the slotted design allows the sreen to be moved to the left or right (but not up or down), for final adjustments. I then took the frame down, installed the screen and placed the compleeted screen on the wall over the already installed screws.

The final assembled product looks great and my projector an Epson HC3700, came to life. I've never owned a permanent screen before, so I can't speak to other brands, but I'm very much impressed with the ease of assembly and overall quality of this product. One final thing, the whole process took almost 2 hours. That includes a couple of breaks for a soda, and taking my time to ensure no mistakes. Before starting I read through the instructions till I had a firm picture of the process in my head and as I went along I reread the instuctions for the next step. I still missed one step, but I caught it right away and lost no time. I like the way it looks o the wall and I liked it even better with Dances With Wolves playing on screen.

First I would like to say that we are movie buffs and wanted to dedicate a room for a Home Theater.. without selling a kidney in the process to pay for it.
After looking at many different options, I settled on this screen and having owned it for most of last year until now.. I haven't looked back.
Installation is pretty easy and straightforward.
Item was packaged very well and protected arriving with no damage. The supplied hardware came with screws and anchors but opted to install it on the wall studs. Assembly is not difficult at all.. but I highly recommend a helping hand.
You pretty much assemble the frame, stretch the fabric on it and attach it to the clips that you slide into the rails as you put it together.
On many reviews people have commented on the center bar being a little tricky. This is where the helping hands come in (for me at least). I had one person LIGHTLY apply outward pressure (pull) on one side as I did the same to the other side.
This allowed me to attach the center bar with ease and when we released our grip everything was tight, straight and true.

To this day I am very satisfied with the screen and it truly helps make movie nights that much more enjoyable. I am very happy with the picture and it being gray and not white helped with any minor ambient light which may be in the room during daytime watching (helped with the blacks).

Best part? Not only is it a great choice, but also affordable.

I watched the the 5 youtube videos that silver ticket has up in order to get the assembly down. The center post gives people problems. After the screen was attached to all the clips, I released the screen from the two top/center clips and two bottom/center clips (where the center posts gets wedged in). Then, with far end of the center post in the groove of the frame, I was able to use my index fingers and thumbs to force the post and frame away from one another just enough for the end of the post to drop down into the groove. I then re-attached the screen to the top and bottom center clips.

I attached two 1/4" hooks ($.98 from HD) and have the screen hanging in front of my plasma which is mounted to the wall behind it. I had previously had an elite B model pull down screen hanging from very strong wire through the ceiling and screwed to ceiling joists. I could no longer take all the wrinkles and waves of the pull-down screen. This screen is only about 20 lbs or so I'm guessing. It's easy to hang without help. I just lean it against a wall in a side room when using the plasma tv behind it, which is most of the time.
