Sound is very good and very loud. I'm feeding these 200 watts each and they get pretty loud and sound great the whole way up. Only complaint is the woofer needs to be cut higher than the crossovers are cutting. If the song is heavy with sub notes up to 100 or so, they will distort. I am going active with an 8 channel DSP soon to eliminate this issue. they look really nice.
The sound is tons better than the Bose speakers

Install this set in my Porsche 997.1. The sound is tons better than the Bose speakers that came as an upgrade in this car. I am getting a pretty good sound stage, considering it's in a small sports car. Highs are very clear to the point that I thought I was hearing a vibration in the door and it was actually the music that was producing the sound. Bass and mid range are good and I expect that they will sound better as they break in.

Had my set hooked up for 6 months now, Sound amazing. Crystal clear with great highs and fantastic midbass. For the price, wow. Not the highest end but I would never spend thousands of bucks for speakers. I am running it with kenwood 5 ch. amp, Clarion eq and 10 inch sub. Would buy again in a second.
These are fantastic speakers and well worth the effort for the install
