Wish the bottle didn't leak but this stuff is wonderful. Not to be too much like "There's something about Mary," I sometimes dab a little bit through my hair to stop the frizzies. =)

Unlike the regular Replens this does not get "gummy" quickly and provides excellent lubrication with increased sensitivity as well so we are happy with it. A little bit goes a long way and lasts a long time (comparatively speaking). Very happy with it.

When you are a certain age you really get to know what displeasure is. Spoiler Alert! We women make less and less personal lubricant as we age making sex no fun. I hit that age! I tried K-Y, and it is sticky and just doesn't make me feel like I used to. I tried Astroglide, and it is a slimy mess! I felt like I needed an underpad just to have sex! I kept looking until I found the answer!

The answer is really 2 fold, so buckle-up!

First: Replens makes a product that allows the vagina to re-moisturize to its natural young state. This is not for having sex. This is for feeling like you are not dying on the inside every minute of every day. It does what Osphena claims to do, but didn't for me. Get the one with the re-usable applicator because the one that is pre-loaded hurts to use it (my experience). So, step one, use the re-moisturizer every 2-3 days. You will be rewarded right from the start when I swear your vagina says, "Ahhhhh!". It is wonderful!!

Second: This product, Replens Silky Smooth Lubricant, is not slimy or sticky. It is as the name says silky smooth! It won't feel like you are having sex with a piece of rebar wrapped in fine sandpaper, and you won't need to protect your mattress from it with an underpad. You get to have that great sex you had when you were young again!

I know it is taboo to talk about sex, dryness, and aging into the need to get help, but it shouldn't be! I am 52. I had a hysterectomy in 1999. I am on HRT, but this has been like a silent scream even since. I finally got relief when I found Replens this year (2016). It is wonderful to feel like I can snuggle up to my husband without worrying I am about to start something that will be unpleasant for me. Now, I am free to snuggle, and start something!
