This was not my first time buying one of these I buy them because I like to grow my tomatoes big.
Sturdy Product.

Much larger and sturdier than I expected. But a bit expensive. The tomato plant will have ample room to grow inside.

Large and heavy duty I used these for my cucumber plants with great success. The only negative is that the wire is very heavy duty and is not real flexible.
Folding cages
Gardendea✓ Verified Purchase•April 21, 2015
These cages were harder than I expected to use. They arrive flat and you have to crimp the final set of hooks to get the things to stand up without collapsing. The cages are made of heavy duty metal and it was very difficult for me to crimp the hooks closed. Pliers, colorful language and several tries were required. I don't see any reason the final set of hooks couldn't be crimped before shipping. They still fold flat after doing the final crimping. I am a 60 year old widow who just needed a few more tomato cages, not a project. Other than the very bad taste having to fight with final assembly, the cages are sturdy. It is a bit of a challenge to get them to stand up squarely but after 6 or 10 tries I got them all straight.
