going on 4 months, no problems yet. The sound is fantastic, espeically for being under $100.... seriously, for the cost I couldn't take someone seriously complaining about the sound because if your a total audiofile and into everything being perfect, then I don't see why you are buying a surround sound that the entire set up is under $100. For the average person making a movie room, GIRL CAVE (or a man cave, blah), this is fantastic, can't beat the price.
Adjust the volume levels and it works fine. Otherwise there will be crackling with rca tv and gaming. I love them.

The thing about reviews is not to accept the bad ones versus accepting the good one. I made this mistake and probably passed up good items. Personally i go with how many of each. As for these speakers there is a trick. With the ipad music it worked great. Amazing even. With the tv and ps4 it started to crackle which was starting to transfer over to playing music. I was going to return then and then tried this; keep the volume low and adjust the different speakers. I did the center high, front middle and surround middle. While adjusting the sub depending. Now they dont crackle with the tv and the sound still sounds great. For 90 bucks this is a steal, unless you dont want to risk crackling because you dont want to mess with the different volumes. Which is understandable though thats more expensive. I also bought some amazon basic cords instead of the cords that came with it. They might just be more insulated, look and feel better (they are like thick rubber) but i think they are great. Oh, and they are different loooking and a little smaller than the picture but i hear thats how speakers are now a days. Still amazing for the price by far.
I reccomend these though be careful with the volume adjustments when gaming or tv, the little speakers especcially the outside ones cant handle as much volume.

First one had something broken in the front speaker connector. But Amazon replaced it fast and the replacement works great. I especially like how i can switch from 2.1 to 5.1 on the remote where 5.1 kicks in the sub woofer so i can rock out but 2.1 kills the bass when i need to keep it down.
