Works great! Better than a free standing cello stand which occupies too much floor space. This hanger saves floor space and can be installed & positioned high enough to allow cello to be stored with the endpin left extended, making it more convenient for my daughter to practice. It comes with a bow holder too.

Awesome! I was looking everywhere for a wall mount for my cello. Most places were trying to say a shorter guitar wall mount would work, but they don't. You need a longer neck on the wall mount due to the thickness of the cello. This one fit the bill perfectly. My cello hangs straight down and doesn't touch the wall.

I don't know why the pictures are inconsistent or why some people who posted before me did not receive a version with a peg for the bow, but mine does, and it's exactly what I need. I had a little trouble getting the screws deep enough into the stud in the wall where I installed this and ultimately had to put a shim behind the hanger to account for the fact that the screws wouldn't go further without stripping, but if you are going into drywall with the screw-in anchors provided, I imagine this wouldn't be a problem.
