After carefully looking around I chose this kit thinking I could replace items that may or may not be missing, some of the older reviews had me nervous. Turns out my fears were completely unfounded as all items arrived intact and I am one pot of hot water away from starting my own adventure in making mead. The instructions are simple and easy to understand and the materials all seem to be of good quality, if your looking for a beginners level look no further.

The yeast nutrient was not included in the kit. I had already started boiling the must before realizing this. I was going by the description of the kit containing everything needed to make a batch of mead. I guess that's what I get for assuming. I had to improvise. (boiled baker's yeast to serve as the yeast nutrient.) I am hoping it works and that I will not have wasted 3 pounds of good honey.
Other than that, the kit was easy to use. If I end up with mead in a few weeks, I will definitely be using this again and again.
