It is comforting and works on both sides of the neck and the back of the neck/head...The warmth feels very good,and the sturdy weight keeps it in place. I use it while taking a nap...good for working on computer too. Stays warm longer than 20 minutes. The washable cover is an important hygienic feature. The pain from my stiff neck is much improved so I'm very pleased with this purchase!.

I like the even, long lasting heat and how well and comfortably it stays in place, whether upright or lying down. I also appreciate that the blue cover is removable and washable. This is a first rate product, a little on the expensive side, but definitely worth it.
