This is a cute litte kitchen but not constructed well enough to last more than a year or so. We bought for our 18mo. daughter and the door when extended all the way easily pops off the kitchen and in our case it broke right through the cheap thin plywood and since then has not stayed on. NOT a good investment! Buy one that will last!!! Especially disappointment because it lasted only about a year and now is completely broken with no door at all. Will have to buy another one for our second child! Disappointed!!

Door broke off a month after buying. Not really built for serious play

My ONE year old just ripped the door completely off of this kitchen. There isn't really a way to fix it. Really disappointed. We have had it less than 4 months.
Cute but breaks easily within weeks or days.

This item is really cute but not very durable. After only one week of use the oven door broke off. I now see that other reviewers have had the same problem.
Update: Now that I've had this for a few months, I really hate it. It is not durable at all - both hinges on the door broke within weeks and I had to reinforce them with metal brackets to keep them on. A wheel has now fallen off and it's not like this thing gets dragged all over the place like in the video - I'm so annoyed and really wish I could get a replacement or my money back. I would never buy this again nor recommend it to anyone.
Update 2/8/16 - Being really upset about my purchase I e-mailed the company directly to complain. They asked for photos of the damage and offered to send parts to fix the broken wheel along with a Hape fruit set to make up for the trouble. Although I appreciate the parts and offer another hape product I am still upset that something marketed as a high-end kitchen is so flimsy and easily breakable. I would never purchase this again or recommend it and will be replacing it with a different, more durable play kitchen in the next year.
