Hose Failure

I've had this unit for 6 months, been using for about 3 months. My hose is falling apart, I've lost 4 sections so far, emailed customer service and haven't heard back, and phone # isn't good. Update, they contacted me and replaced the hose!!

i have used it one season and its been great. Its better then the two hayward vacuums i had. I hope it lasts at least 4-5 years, we will see.

I bought this cleaner not knowing how well it would perform after having had a larger more expensive cleaner. This cleaner is a beast. Out cleaned my previous larger cleaner by far. I purchased the scrubbing head as an additionally and it cleans so well now that I don't even have to brush the sides. My only suggestion would be to include a scrubbing head as an option for the pool owner to decide if he just wants a vacuum or a vacuum scrubber. Great product for the price!!

I was about to return this for not working but after a bunch of research solved the problem. I gave this a 4-star for making this so difficult to figure out. Their website was no help. Here it is on a sand filter system: 1st: The vacuum suction will be reduced if your filters aren't clean. I backwashed and rinsed the sand filter and cleaned the pump filter which got the vacuum moving at about 4-5 rotations/25secs. 2nd: I closed the valve to the main drain while its on and that got it fully up to working speed. Hope this helps. So far it was one of the more reasonably priced vacuums and seems to be doing what its designed for.

Best thing I ever purchased for my pool. I should have stepped up and bought the brush model, just to be safe. However, you can purchase them separately and add to your unit.
The only bad part is the hose can crimp up with the suction.
